Hey!  We’re glad you found our site.  To give you an idea of who’s behind all of the information you see, here’s a quick bio.

We’re just an average couple with amazing kids like you that decided one day that we didn’t want to be victims of a burglary or home invasion.

But, finding unbiased information was tough.

So, we decided to set up a web site so that the hours/days/weeks that we spent (and spend) researching home security can benefit you and your family too.  As a result, this web site is a reflection of our opinions based on research and experience (I also have a master’s degree in engineering).  But obviously, you’ll have to read and make your own decisions about what makes sense for you and you’re family.  We provide the information and let you decide.  That’s a little different than some other sites in the home security area (especially security systems), and we hope that you appreciate the gesture.
